Stunning work! Works so well as a diptych, and the blue against the colour works so effectively, gorgeous blue tones they are. Compelling

Great stuff, guess I will be seeing it first hand too! That is a novel way to show this piece, I can see how the space is a good break. Like the ambient lighting, suggested movement, color metrics.. splendid work

Denis I really appreciate it. This one I had a bit of fun with. I wanted to do something that would fit the scale of the show, but be bigger that 12" so I came up with this. They will be framed separately. The head piece was an old graduate student's sculpture that I found and turned it into a hat.

Your paintings just have a lot of weird intrigue to them which I really like. I really like the rendering too, especially the figure on the left, very delicately done.

nice one.. like how we almost pass through time here. the tinted monochrome on the right works well with the bles in the left side.. i was wondering, as its a dyptich, is there a gap between them when on display or will they be as they are here.. i cant make up my mind if a gap would be ok or not.. i think it probably would, but not too big a gap....

top work fella

Tom,
I really think they are going to be framed seperate, but hung next to each other. when you pull it a part it seems to work better than when they are together.
Thanks so much for the words,
Jason
